Add Scenarios to Features

Follow these steps to manually add a scenario to your feature:

1. Login to the Amdocs dashboard and select the required project from the project dropdown.

   

2. Navigate to the Features page.

   

3. Click on the Add a scenario button . The new scenario form displays.

   

4. In the Create a scenario window, select one of the following options:

   

   1. AI Recorder (Recommended)

      1. Start recording your flow.
      2. Amdocs captures your actions and automatically generates both the test code and a Gherkin (BDD) scenario description.

   2. Gherkin file

      1. Select an existing feature name or add a new feature where you want to create the new scenario. Click Next.

         

      2. A new empty BDD scenario is created under the selected feature.

         

      3. You can then manually write your scenario using Gherkin syntax.

   3. Plain English (Beta)

      1. Select a feature and provide a description. Click Next.

         

      2. You can either manually add your own scenario, or choose a scenario from the suggested scenarios list.

         

      3. Edit the scenario as needed.

         

      4. You can preview the Scenario Name and Script.

      5. After verifying the details, click Save Feature to add the scenario.
